Coolcar Auckland an independent operator owned company, founded 18 years ago by Quim Silva the company specialises in automotive air conditioning and heating systems. Quim accomplished his apprenticeship with Mercedes Benz in Portugal and has over 30 years combined experience in automotive air conditioning as well as mechanical repairs.
After moving to New Zealand Quim was a founding Director of Automotive Air Conditioning Company. After many years in the partnership he decided to set up his own company that would enable him to keep close to his customers. Quim prides himself on professional services and above all fantastic customer service and satisfaction.

For many years Quim has actively taken part of the Motor Trade Association serving as a Director on the Board for three years. This keeps him at the best game of industry advancements and a leading partner in the motor industry. Quim is also a co-founder of the Ozone Company, which was established to ensure safe usage and disposal of refrigerants.

CoolCar Air-Conditioning Centre Auckland was established by Grey Lynn in 1987, offering vehicle servicing to the Greater Auckland area. Coolcar Air conditioning Centre has been a Motor Trade Association (MTA) assured centre from its inception. The company has always been proud to be part of the highly regarded Auto Super Shoppes brand, and continues to specialise in vehicle air-conditioning and heating, as well as offering generalist repairs and servicing.
It is also one of the few air-conditioning companies in New Zealand that can design and build vehicle air-conditioning and heating systems from scratch.
